Get past the drones and you’ll automatically land in the secret exit. You can find all of the secret exits here as well if you want but it is not essential. Without this upgrade it’s impossible to beat some of the target times. Get to the end of the area to be teleported to the secret warp room. Diggin' It - This route has boxes and a Clear Gem, in order to get the rest of the level's boxes you will have to backtrack down the right path after coming off the platform at the end. At the end of the level where you get thrown off the bear, you will have noticed several platforms behind you floating in the water. What’s best is that they keep respawning infinitely every few seconds. With a lot of practice it’s all possible but get ready to replay the same missions many times. After collecting the first crystals the trophy no longer works and you’d have to start a new game again. The indoor portion of the level features different obstacles including falling icicles and log crushers. When you do it teleports you to the warp room in the basement. "Diggin' It" suffers from same problems and more when you're trying to get all boxes. In terms of difficulty first game is the hardest, third the easiest. Important: Never complete a level / never pick up a purple crystal! For this trophy you need to make Cortex angry which is achieved by entering a level and exiting to the warp room without getting the Crystal. This trophy can only be obtained on either Diggin' It or Bee-Having. Island Hopping
It’s not an easy platinum to get. Hold and chase him down whilst avoiding all of the obstacles in your way, spin once you get close which will damage him, and repeat this 2 more times to defeat him. During levels you will see platforms with a skull & bones sign. You must reach them without dying or it will become unavailable, at which point you will have to exit and re-enter the level to make it reappear, you can die on the routes themselves just not leading up to them. Approach her time machine and you will be asked if you want her to join your adventure, you can then press in the Warp Room to switch to her whenever you want. There are numerous locations to get this trophy but the easiest is on Bear Down, after the first checkpoint on the 2nd set of enemies, jump in to the blocks and fall in to the water right in front of them. Once the small bear throws you off his back you will be standing in front of the level exit. Story related and cannot be missed. In addition, there is also icyterrain that Crash will skate across, making it harder for him to maneuver. In the bottom right it says how many lives you have. Three levels (Air Crash, Snow Go, Road to Ruin) have an alternate entrance through the Warp Room in the basement. Like Cold Hard Crash, it has a split path Death Route containing some boxes, which means Backtracking. Of course, you can replay levels at any time and come back later to mop up the Gems. To beat the required times you must finish the mission as quickly as possible, which means you can’t die and must get time crates along the way. So the difference with part 1 is that these time trials are more forgiving? When you finish a mission in record time you earn a relic. This entry works similarly to the previous game where you are placed in a hub-like Warp Room where Crash must enter various levels to collect Crystals in order to fight the boss of each floor and progress. You can replay missions at any time. After unlocking Coco you can press R2 to switch between her & Crash. From Colored Gem Paths. During the level you will drop down a second hole in to a large pool of water, the camera prompts you to move forward but ignore this. It can be a tricky jump to make. Death Routes are featured in several levels which are indicated by a platform with a Skull and Crossbones on it. It has to be through the portal in the basement, which only unlocks after you did the “Jumping the Jetboard” trophy. Technically, this trophy is missable. The level is located in Warp Room 4. Clear Gem - Destroy all 85 crates. All you need to do is get killed by bees and the trophy will pop. You can unlock Coco after defeating Ripper Roo and ascending to the 2nd floor Warp Room. When this happens many other platforms will flash red and fall so you will need to quickly to jump to a non-red platform to avoid death. If you have not yet earned the hidden death-related or life trophies during the above steps, now is the time to go for the rest of the trophies. After completing a level you can press L1 while standing in front of it to see the relic target times (please note that pressing L1 shows the times for all 3 relics, pressing R1 shows only the times for the next best one). These paths will take you to a more difficult part of the level and must be completed for clear gems and, sometimes, extra hidden boxes. This opens the Death Route and unlocks the trophy. Overall it's not too difficult depending on your skill level and if you have any previous experience with the original game. This game is a PS4 Remaster of the old PS1 version. From here go through the portal to level “Snow Go” which contains the red gem. This trophy is technically missable in the sense that you must obtain it before collecting a single Crystal otherwise Cortex will not initiate the dialogue. Step 2: In the first Warp Room start & quit any level 3 times in a row. Try to unlock as many of these as possible when you first play through each level to save time, although they can easily be cleaned up afterwards regardless. On these levels you will notice enemies that lift up ice blocks to knock you off of your bear, for this trophy you need to purposely get hit by them but so you then fly in to some water afterwards. Piston It Away doesn't have as many checkpoints and the enemies are a lot harder to deal with, not to mention those freaking lasers. Once all of the Nitros explode he will be stunned for a few seconds and you can attack him, do this 3 times to defeat him. Buzz Off!
